General Manager

With 30+ years in the private club industry, Stephens brings to South Shore Harbour Country Club a breadth of experience. Past leadership positions have included the The Club at Falcon Point (Katy, TX), the Dominion Country Club and Fair Oaks Ranch Golf & Country Club (San Antonio, Tx). It was during the past nearly six years as Regional and General Manager of Bay Oaks Country Club that he was first introduced to SSHCC. Stephen looks forward to working with the many loyal Members and staff to provide a Private Club experience worthy of our Member’s continued support, fostering a renewed pride in belonging and realizing the true potential of the Club. He knows that our Members and the community will respond positively to the changes and improvements planned and looks forward to his involvement with South Shore Harbour Country Club for many years to come.

Member Services Director

Sheri began her career in the private club industry at Bay Oaks Country Club in 2016 as the Receptionist and was promoted to the Member Experience role in 2020. She came to South Shore Harbour Country Club late March 2022 and brings to SSHCC her knowledge and experience in Club marketing and communication. Originally from Orange, TX Sheri moved to the Clear Lake area in 2007 and in her spare time loves spending time outdoors with her family and friends. Married for 20 years, she and her husband have two daughters who keep them busy with high school cheer and select softball.

Private Events & Tournaments

Robin began her career at South Shore Harbour Country Club in September of 2022 in the role of tournaments and private event sales. She was previously the controller/office manager at Bay Oaks Country Club. Robin is originally from Goliad Texas and moved to Houston in 2002. In her spare time, she enjoys riding her road bike and has participated in the MS150 and multiple Houston rides. She has three daughters that keep her busy with swimming, FFA, soccer and aerial silk performance.

Controller/Office manager

Jeri is originally from Lampasas, TX. She and her husband moved to the League City area in 2000, when she began her career with South Shore Harbour CC. She started off as the receptionist and moved her way up through the Club’s accounting department to Controller-Office Manager. Her and her husband have 2 kids, a son who graduated High School last year and a daughter who keeps them busy with sports and raising lambs for FFA.

Golf Course Superintendent

Richard is a 17 year veteran of the golf industry. He was born and raised in Texas where he gained a love for the sport of golf from his father at a very early age. He graduated top of his class at Texas State Technical College with the second highest GPA in the history of the Turfgrass Management Program. He was fortunate to be able to gain experience under Gary Archer, a 32 year veteran of the golf industry, at Lake Arlington Golf Course for 10 years before joining the Bay Oaks Country Club agronomy team in 2016 as Assistant Superintendent.

Richard accepted the lead role of Superintendent at South Shore Harbor Country Club in the summer of 2019 and has worked tirelessly since then to improve course conditions. With the recent investments in equipment, personnel and other improvements, the course is steadily improving under the efforts of Richard and his team. Richard is also currently working towards becoming a Certified Golf Course Superintendent through the GCSAA.

Head Golf Professional

Kyle began his golf career in 1997 as a golf shop assistant at Sunset Grove Country Club in Orange, TX before accepting the opportunity to work under Hank Haney as a golf instructor in 2000. Promoted to Director of Junior Golf the following year, 4 ½ years were spent at Haney Golf Ranch in McKinney TX honing the skills to teach golf at a high level. A Director of Instruction position at Sherrill Park and Assistant professional position at Eagle Pointe Golf Club followed before a near 12 year tenure at Bay Oaks Country Club. Transitioning to South Shore Harbour Country Club in 2021 was the start of a new chapter in his professional career with the acceptance of the Head Golf Professional’s position in September of 2021. Today he continues to strive to elevate the Member’s golf experience, service level and quality of instruction programs at the Club.

PGA Head Golf Professional

Jeff grew up in Perrysburg, Ohio located just outside Toledo. A four year high school varsity golf team member, he helped earn the honor to compete in the State Championship during his tenure on the team. Jeff attended Appalachian State University on a golf scholarship from 1992-1996, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree with a minor in English.

In 2001, Jeff earned his PGA Golf Professional Class “A” membership. Jeff’s past leadership positions within the golf business have included Linville Ridge Country Club, Riverside Country Club, Westwood Golf Club, Galveston Country Club and Eagle Pointe Golf Club.

Married for 21 years to his wonderful wife Karen, they have three children, Lauren, JT and Ty. Their family has been in the League City area for 24 years and look forward to many more. Jeff looks forward to working with the Membership as a whole to bring a new feel to this great Club.
